Like many other automakers as the U.S. auto market slowly reawakens, Nissan posted a sales increase in June. Its sales were up by 10.8 percent and a bit surprisingly in this market, the Infiniti, its luxury brand, lead in sales.
Nissan and Infiniti sold a total of 64,570 cars and trucks in June, up from 58,298 for the same month last year. Lake Worth off lease car dealer customers no doubt helped boost these numbers.
Infiniti sales were up 31.7 percent which is astonishing to me given that the luxury brand is not as affordable for most of us as the Nissan brand, which gained 8.2 percent in sales. The company says Infiniti sales were boosted by the launch of a “refreshed” Infiniti M sedan. That model alone had a sales increase of 75.4 percent. In fact, the Infiniti brand has double digit sales increases on every one of their models.
Lake Worth off lease vehicles sold accordingly, with local dealers reflecting similar increases. Still, overall sales in June were not as high as the company had projected, according to Al Castignetti, vice president and general manager of Nissan.
“Coming off of May, we were very pleased with the results both as an industry and a manufacturer and we were hoping it would continue into June. But I think June slowed down more than any of us anticipated,” Castignetti added.
Nissan still plans to aim high and hope for a continued upswing in the U.S. auto market and beyond. Your Lake Worth off lease car dealer is optimistic as well, since signs indicated that the U.S. market may well continue to grow and even begin to thrive.
Nissan does have some sharp new models coming out for 2011, some of which are arriving now. The 2010 models will be moving out – probably at prices that will please customers. Lake Worth off lease vehicles are always at the best possible price and customers should not hesitate to explore leasing as well as buying a new vehicle.
Nissan, meanwhile, will continue its innovative ways in creating cars that are safer, greener and more fun to drive. Nissan’s reputation has grown solidly in the United States over the past two decades and it is considered a quality automaker and trusted by its customers.
Castignetti reiterated that Nissan will continue to move forward. “We are not going to let one month dictate what happens the remainder of the year. We are hoping for the industry to rebound.” And rebound it well may if things keep going in the direction they have been.
