Lockport schools raising taxes
The proposed budget for Lockport City School District residents raises local property taxes nearly 5 percent. Adopted 8-1 Wednesday by board members, the $ 79 million budget would require a $ 1.5 million — or 4.8 percent — increase in the tax levy.
